December Manifesting Toolkit: Seasonal Survival Guide for Empathic Rebels - Part Two.
As we explored in Part One of this series, the holidays can feel like a lot—all that noise, all those expectations. But what if December could be different this year? What if it became a month where you actually honor yourself, stay connected to what matters, and let a little magic unfold?
These four exercises are designed to help you do exactly that. They're gentle, grounded, and genuinely fun. Think of them as your personal toolkit for moving through December with more ease, intention, and joy.
Exercise One: Mini-Manifesting
Start by creating a list of mini-manifestations—small, delightful things you'd love to notice or experience in December. The key here is to keep it loose and light. These should be things that feel likely, playful, and intriguing to you. Specific enough to be notable, general enough to feel easy. If something makes you think "there's no way that could happen," it's not the right vibe.
You don't need to map out all 31 days (though you can). The fun part is staying alert throughout the month and noticing when these little moments show up. You might journal as December unfolds, or simply look back in January and marvel at what emerged.
Some examples to spark your imagination:
(for business people) a great idea from a customer to deepen and expand your work
A genuine compliment from a stranger
A ornate depiction of a tortoise
A found, handwritten note that makes you laugh
Hearing a rarely-played power song from your teens whilst out and about
Acquiring something that brings physical comfort and coziness to your space
Exercise Two: Your Advent Calendar (Gifts to Self)
Forget the chocolate. This is about giving yourself what you actually need.
Create a list of daily gifts—things that are free, flexible, require little to no prep, and feel sensory or evocative. Then either write them into your calendar day-by-day, or write them on flashcards and pull them randomly each morning, like an advent calendar oracle.
Here are some ideas to get you started:
Do something nourishing for your skin—a face mask, moisturizer, a ritual around it.
Cancel or postpone something you don't actually want to do (no elaborate excuses needed).
Look in the mirror and compliment yourself on something you like—whether it's your appearance or a quality you admire.
Eat one meal slowly and mindfully, tasting every ingredient, noticing every texture.
Light a candle with an intention. Sit quietly, gaze at the flame, and let yourself absorb its warmth and light.
Write a handwritten letter or card to someone who's made a real impact on your life this year. Go beyond the generic season's greetings—make it personal and sincere.
Find something in your home with a scent you love and let it transport you. Or visit somewhere that always smells wonderful.
Create an ornate doodle or freestyle art from your own name, talking to yourself lovingly as you do. Reflect on the positive things you created for yourself this year.
Dance or move your body to a favorite song.
Complete something you've been putting off—just to feel that gorgeous sense of relief and accomplishment.
Exercise Three: Sending Energy to Your December Self
This one's about intentional, heart-centered preparation.
STEP ONE - ATTUNE
Find a quiet moment when you're already feeling calm and grounded. Grab a physical calendar—an advent calendar, a printed December page, a wall calendar, whatever you have—and place your hands on it.
Feel into your own power. You get to shape how this month unfolds.
Now send love and energy across the entire month ahead. Gently visualize the things you already know are coming—the gatherings, the moments, the days—and send supportive energy to each, but don’t linger. Release any need to control or force things into perfection. You're not engineering a flawless month; you're creating a held, supported one.
STEP TWO - AFFIRM
Use affirmations that land for you—especially ones that soften the mindset patterns that are triggered over the festive season. Put them in your own words. They should feel true to you. Need some inspiration? See Part One from this series.
Let yourself focus on topics that matters most right now. Maybe it's self-image. Maybe it's abundance. Maybe it's your energy and presence. You don't have to cover every aspect of your life in one month—work, family, money, your body. Trust that the divine can support you there too.
STEP THREE - DIVINE
From this calm, open place, let impressions come. Ask for guidance. Note down any loose, positive "predictions" that feel true. You might even sense where they might land across the month. This is different from forcing manifestation—it's about receiving what wants to come through.
An example: I will have an unexpected opportunity to spend real time with someone I care about, and we'll share an experience that feels perfectly suited to how we both see the world.
Or: I'll receive an invitation to something that's not usually my scene, but the experience will genuinely uplift and astound me.
Exercise Four: Softening Challenges and the Unexpected
Let's be real: December has its spicy moments. But you don't have to white-knuckle your way through them.
Hold your physical calendar again and sense into where challenges might be. This isn't about negativity—just the seasoning in the month. From a calm, grounded place, open to images or impressions of what these moments could hold (don't overthink the details).
Then send love to what you see.
Now ask yourself: Is this actually what's going to happen, or is this my old story playing out? If you feel heaviness, you're probably bumping into an assumption based on past experience. That makes sense. But it doesn't have to be your story this time. You can stay open to different outcomes, different solutions.
Ask for guidance. How might you soften these moments? What's a Plan B? If there are particularly charged days or timeframes, you can ask Spirit for more information—but always frame it around how to offset the challenge, not how to brace for impact.
Send yourself love and empowerment around what you find. You've got this.
